BUMBERA IMPRESSES NASCAR TEAM OWNERS AT DRIVE FOR DIVERSITY COMBINE IN SOUTH BOSTON VIRGINIA

SOUTH BOSTON, VA � OCTOBER 14, 2008 This is the second year that Kristin Bumbera has received an invitation to test in front of NASCAR team owners who will decide if she will drive for them in the Drive for Diversity program in 2009. Last year she was selected by Frank Jordan of Golden State Racing to drive a full season in the NASCAR Whelan Late Model Series where she earned 2 wins, 12 top 5�s and 14 top 10�s and currently holds the Late Model track record at All American Speedway of 13.69 seconds. 

Kristin was the third driver out laying down a benchmark lap time for the remaining drivers. On lap 17 the right front tire suddenly blew out in the center of turns one and two sending her car into the turn two wall. NASCAR assured her that she would get the chance to finish her run because the accident was due to a mechanical failure and no fault of hers. Bumbera would showcase her resilience returning to the track and laying down another impressive run. Several team owners later let Kristin know how impressed they were with her determination calling her a �real trooper�. 

Bumbera leaves the combine today very optimistic about her 2009 plans.
